Melissa Suzanne George, an australian actress, businesswoman and model who is also a designer and inventor. Following her start in the business at home in Australia, she moved to Hollywood where she found great success. George, a native of Perth from Western Australia, began her career in dance and roller-skating with artistic flair. The modeling career of her began in her early twenties, in which she received the Western Australia Teenage Model Award in 1992. Her screen debut was in the episode of the soap opera series Seven Network's Home and Away the year following. She had her big-screen debut in the mystery thriller Dark City and essayed various support roles in films such as Alias The Limey and Down with Love prior to appearing for the first time as a female lead on an established Hollywood project, in the remake in 2005 of The Amityville Horror. She is currently one of Hollywood's most sought after Australian expats. George is an entrepreneur who is launching her own brand of product Style Snaps on the market.
