Gugulethu Mbatha (better called Gugu-Mbatha-Raw) is an British actress and film star that became popular when she was a part of the BBC series "Doctor Who" which is a British Sci-Fi TV series. Gugu gained fame for her role as Tish Jones in the show on BBC. The character was sister to a main character known as Martha Jones. The audience loved Gugu's bright energy and spontaneity. It was impossible to go back from Gugu's successful acting future! The actress also appeared on other British television and stage productions. Her role as Belle (2013) on the British period drama 'Beyond the Lights,' and her performance in the romantic drama "Beyond the Lights' have been highly acclaimed by critics. The actress has also been in a variety of American productions like "Larry Crowne", which is a Tom Hanks comedy film as well as television shows such as 'Undercover', and 'Touch.' Gugu was the main character in Jessica Swale's play in 2015, "Nell Gwynn", as an actress/mistress of the king Charles II. Her performance was well-received by critics, who commended her acting talent. Gugu won the Evening Standard Theatre Award as the Best Actress. Gugu, in a gesture of appreciation for all her achievements in the world of drama, was made an honorary Member of the Order of the British Empire.
Chelsea Joy Handler, born on February 25, 1975, at Livingston New Jersey, is the youngest of six children. The family was comprised of six members including Chelsea Joy Handler as the youngest. Handler was the daughter of a car salesman as well as a domestic worker. Her mother is a German who emigrated into the United States from Germany in 1958. After ten long years of combating breast cancer, Handler passed away in 1989. Handler's father was Jewish, and she was raised within Reform Judaism. Handler grew up in a safe area and enjoyed a pleasant childhood. Handler was 19 when she made the decision to relocate in Los Angeles and pursue acting. Handler had to turn into an actress in order to survive. Handler took the decision to concentrate on stand-up at the age of 21 after she realized her story telling abilities. Handler began her professional career being a part of the all-female Oxygen team, and featured in a tv show known as Girls Behaving BADLY. The series was famous for its hidden camera and humorous jokes. From 2002 until 2005, the show was aired. The host then appeared in other programs such as Weekends at the D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was a part of The Tonight Show for a while as a correspondent. Handler got her first major break as she hosted her E! Show in 2006. called The Chelsea Handler Show. The show ran during two consecutive seasons. Handler appeared on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour the next season throughout the United States. The stand-up shows she has performed have been aired on VH1 and Comedy Central's Premium Blend and HBO. The show was announced as the host of 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in the year 2010. Roseanne was the first woman ever to host a VMA.
