Dua Lipa, an English singer-songwriter was born in London on 22 August 1995. Her debut self-titled album debuted in 2017 following her signed with Warner Bros Records. The album peaked at the third spot at the top of the U.K. charts for albums and featured eight singles including the U.K. top ten hit song New Rules and Be the One. I.D.G.A.F. Lipa was awarded the Brit Awards for British female solo artist as well as British breakthrough act in 2018. Her album was certified platinum worldwide. Future Nostalgia's second album was released in the year 2020. You can celebrate her birthday here. Dua Lipa was born on August 22, 1995 in London with Kosovo Albanian Anesa Rexha, and Dukagjin Lipa. Her maternal grandmother is Bosnian. Also, it is possible to trace back her ancestors in Peja, the Kosovo city of Peja. Lipa's grandfathers were both historians. Lipa is the younger sister of Rina Lipa and one younger brother, named Gjin. Her father, a musician and lead singer from the Kosovan band Oda has influenced her in a musical way. At home, her father would play music from David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Stereophonics The Police Stereophonics. Lipa was only five when she first began to sing. At the age of nineteen she was singing in Sylvia Young Theater School. Lipa recorded If I Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys and Beautiful by Christina Aguilera to be uploaded on YouTube. Lipa has signed her first recording agreement in 2014 with Warner Bros. Records. The first single she released was New Love was released in August, 2015.
