Louisa Krause was born in New York City. She was Anna Garner the leading role in The Girl Experience. Brenda Woodberg was her debut film character in The Babysitters. Krause started her career with drama in college after which she appeared in a variety of Off-Broadway productions and in episodes of New York based TV shows. Professionally, her parents are of American and Japanese descent. Nathaniel his brother Nathaniel is an accomplished director. Her interest for the arts from a young stage by attending the Washington School of Ballet in Washington D.C. Once she began high school, dancing became less of a priority when she started performing in Henry Kriegers and Bill Russell's various musicals and plays including Side Show as Violet Hilton. The school she attended was an acting class at Carnegie Mellon Drama School after graduation from high school. Shortly after Krause realized she was ready to begin her acting career professionally. Her Equity badge was obtained from the performance she made in Aida an musical. Louisa Krause was first involved with theatre. In 2006, she was in the Huntington Theatre Company's production. She portrayed Iphigenia as part of the Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 production in 2007.
